Tanjong Pagar was the first area in Singapore to be gazetted under Singapore’s conservation plan due to the shophouses located in the area.  Many of these have been refurbished and are popular with advertising, technology and investment management companies.  

Guoco Tower was completed in 2016 and is currently the tallest building in Singapore – this is directly connected to Tanjong Pagar MRT station.  More recent completions include CapitaSky and Keppel South Central which will be completed in 2024.
